Why Didn’t You Tell Me!!!

Last week, one of my co-workers stopped by my desk to tell me how great the new Lupe Fiasco album was. Now, he reads my blog, and he knows how much I like “He Say/She Say” so HOW COULD HE NOT TELL ME that Lupe’s new release is a concept album featuring the characters from that song and “The Cool”.

Still, I forgive my co-worker (since he’s tipped me to Lupe’s concert in January). Plus he suggested that I listen to Little Brother’s The Listening (which includes my favorite LB song, “Whatever You Say”). So, as a hap-tip back, I’m posting two tracks. The first is Lupe’s “…And He Gets The Girl”. The song shares the same beat as the N.E.R.D.’s “Maybe”. The second track is 4Hero’s “Give In”, which features Justus Leaguers Darien Brockington and Phonte (one half of Little Brother). And if you like 4Hero, check out Play With The Changes.
